External Casing:
The unit is housed in a sleek aluminum hard casing, and seems to be fairly well made. It is very light, but feels solid.
Installation:
I installed the SSD into my HP Pavilion DV7-4152si, without too much trouble. The screws needed a bit of work to get them to line up, but that may have been the HDD mounting on the HP.
I ran a fresh installation of windows 7 professional via a USB startup disk and the entire install took about 35 minutes to complete. This was very quick. I then proceeded to install my applications and was once again very impressed with the speed at which the SSD ran.
After completing the installation and running the system for a few days, I downloaded and installed the technical preview of Windows 10, which I installed following the same process. Installation time was very quick and to date I have had no issues with the drive. The computer starts up very quickly and runs without a glitch.
I have run a couple of benchmarks and the drive performs very well in terms of read speeds, reaching up to 530MB/s. The write speed is a little slow at 180MB/s, but this is still very fast in comparison to my old HDD.
In conclusion, with a three year warranty and a very attractive price point, this is most a definitely an ideal choice to get into the SSD world. 120Gb is a touch small, I have already filled 80% of the drive, but once you experience the speed at which things happen on your computer… this is definitely a great option to get you started.
I would recommend saving a bit for the 240GB though, it is has double the space and double the write speed at only costs 40% more.

Today we review an affordable purpose built flight stick, featuring a full size throttle with large quick access
buttons.
Its the Speedlink Black Widow flight stick 🙂
Sitting steady on the desk with suction cup feet, the base holds truly firm for those quick combat sim manuveors. Its incredibly light compared to offerings in the same price bracket. The joystick itself offers ergonomic grip with well positioned buttons. It features 4 buttons + a FOV selector. Unfortunately theres one downside, upon using vibration feedback, the F1 button rattles with a cheapish sound. The rubber texture is soft and smooth.
The flight stick also features a decent size throttle bundled with rudder control buttons mounted on the back of the throttle. This essentially removes the need for seperate peddles or a twist rudder control that is normally combined into the joystick itself. The throttle mounted rudder feels good and is well positioned.
Overall, the feel, control and deadzones are great. It is well priced within the entry level segment and sure beatsusing gamepad controls for flight sims!

The Raidmax Atomic Black Chassis is one good looking, sleek piece of hardware.
Not only is it stylish and compact, it’s serves a very functual purpose. With the necessary ports, so easily
reachable – right on top of the case. The placement of the 1x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0 and AUX ports, are ingenious and contributes to the functionality of the Raidmax Atomic Black Chassis.
Aesthetically, the one see-through perspex panel delivers a window into the workings of the PC. Wonderfully designed to round of the otherwise, near perfect design.
To conclude, the Raidmax Atomic is a great product – good looking, functional, small, sleek and impressive with a large enough fan to keep it cool for a long time. Definitely a must buy product.
