The primary objective of the Smart Home Specialist is to build a sustainable new business unit within Syntech. He/she will be responsible for the establishment, growth and profitability of the new product set. This strategic thinker must be able to work within a team to support our sales, technical and procurement divisions. Strategic planning is therefore essential. This requires a comprehensive knowledge of the market, our competition and the solutions or products that Syntech can provide. The Smart Home Specialists will work with various members of the Syntech team to maximise profitability and become the leaders in this field in Southern Africa.
The Technician reports directly to the Technical Manager and is responsible for testing, replacing and/or repairing of faulty IT related products as well as assemblies which will include RAID systems, CCTV systems and Mini PC’s. You will need to be able to do telephonic Technical Support on our product sets. This will include fault finding of CCTV systems / Consumer Electronic Goods / PC’s and Components. You also required to work close with the other individual team members to further your knowledge on our fields of expertise.
