We are looking for a highly motivated, quick thinking, tech savvy technician to join our Technical team. The Technician reports directly to the Technical Manager. You’ll be responsible for testing, replacing and/or repairing faulty IT products. You will also work on assemblies, which will include RAID systems and Mini PCs. The ideal candidate will also need to provide telephonic technical support on a wide array of Syntech products. This will routinely include fault finding in consumer electronic goods, PCs, and components. You will also be required to work closely with the other individual team members and expand your knowledge base around our fields of expertise.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Receiving and booking in of Faulty Products
  • Assessing/testing faulty stock
  • Generate technical reports
  • Maintain inventory control
  • Assembling Mini PC’s, RAID systems and computers
  • Technical support
Education and Experience
  • Grade 12
  • Relevant IT products and industry knowledge
  • Experience with software Operating Systems (Windows, Android, Linux, et cetera)
  • Basic knowledge of Networking
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in the IT Industry
  • A+ Certification
