Our strategy to achieve this was really quite simple and the outcome was better than we ever expected. All we did was channel our efforts into making our resellers shine. Syntech’s success is entirely dependent on the success of our resellers and their willingness to embrace the products that we distribute.
This year we took some bold moves, we distanced ourselves from products where we could not add value so that we could focus on brands that help us, and our resellers, stand out. Our strategy involves regularly introducing new technology to the market and riding the wave of growth as demand for these products increase. Our product portfolio is always fresh, unique and exciting, this is, of course, backed up with stringent quality control procedures. Everything we do aims to build and support your trust in us and we are pleased with the number of new resellers that have embraced our innovative culture.

There have been some really amazing success stories for us in 2016, with brands such as Redragon, Crucial, Romoss, Orico, Giada, G-Technology (to name only a few) really starting to capture the market in South Africa. We have worked extremely hard to build these brands and customers who have seen the value in these brands have equally benefited from these successes. I urge all of our customers to work closely with the Syntech sales team to extract as much value from our amazing product line-up and ensure that we continue to help you grow and adapt to an ever-changing environment. We have structured our team to offer support on multiple levels such asBusiness Development Managers, Retail Merchandisers and of course your dedicated Account Managers. Our website also continues to grow and grow, with customers increasingly making use of our livestock feed, online ordering system and buy now functionality. Please ensure you are utilising all of our amazing resources to facilitate your growth!

Like the old saying goes: “This year was like a jawbreaker – hard but good”.
2016 offered its highlights, challenges and opportunities, for which we are all grateful. At our annual sales conference, we had the opportunity to refocus, get clarity on our strategy and understand the synergized view of what we wanted to achieve this year. Combining this with some cool new products and brands, like Orico and Redragon, we were able to engage with even more customers, which fuelled our growth to record heights.
2016 saw its fair share of political challenges, roller coaster Rand/Dollar exchange rates and tougher than usual market conditions. Even when presented with these challenges we still managed to deliver exceptional products and services that add value to our customers. Like Syntech, we saw our customers grow with us. We know that your success is our success and we want to reassure you, that in 2017 we will continue to be a top provider of ICT products in southern Africa.
Syntech Johannesburg had a great 2016, thanks to unfailing customer support and continuous staff dedication. I, therefore, want to thank each and every staff member, our directors and all our customers – big or small, for all the support and the opportunity to be part of your lives and businesses.
