The “Crucial Cup” kicks off with over 40 teams entered!

Syntech and Crucial kick off the Crucial Cup with incredible Prizes to the value of R15 000

Crucial and Syntech continues its on-going efforts to encourage growth within the South African eSports Community.

Electronic sports (also known as eSports or competitive gaming) is a term for organized multiplayer video game competitions. The most common video game genres associated with electronic sports are real-time strategy, fighting,  first-person shooter, and multiplayer online battle arena.

Although e-sports have long been a part of video game culture, competitions have seen a large surge in popularity from the late 2000’s and early 2010’s.

The backing from Crucial and Syntech will provide the tools and resources that gamer’s and organizers can use to promote their own team’s skill and also promote growth within the gaming community by having new players enter the competitive scene and exposing new “shout casters” to the public with some amazing gameplay along with a growing following.

The Crucial Cup will see the top Battlefield 4 teams in South Africa battle it out for the ultimate prize in top end hardware supplied by Crucial to the value of R15 000

The tournament is being organized by Stephen “xTc-Lang-Slang” de Witt who has organized and put together countless other successful tournaments and is also the team captain of our very own xTc-Black Legion.
